This concentrated oil of Pink Berries is a pure oil, extracted from the seeds of Schinus terebinthifolius by supercritical CO2. It is derived from the false pepper tree, a species of tree whose berries are the spice known as "pink pepper", "pink berries" or Aroeira. Native to South America (Brazil), it is now exploited on Reunion Island for its berries nicknamed "Reunion Pink Gold".

In Vitro:
> 23% inhibition of Perilipin A expression, allowing a decrease in the protection of large lipid droplets against lipolytic agents and in the capacity of fat uptake
> 60% increase in adipophilin levels
> Total inhibition of the formation of large lipid drops in favor of small ones
> Increase in powerful lipolytic activity.

In Vivo :
> Centimetric losses in women, as in men, up to 2 cm.
> Increase of the microcirculation of 16% after 1H, without vasodilator effect.

Ex Vivo:
> 68% increase in the amount of caffeine released over 48 hours.

This photophilic brown alga, also called Sea Broom because of its shape of "pompom" is found in the Mediterranean and more particularly in Corsica.

In Vitro:
> Inhibition of the expression of the transcription factors SREBP1 and c/EBPα.
> Inhibition of the activation of enzymes involved in triglyceride synthesis.
> Inhibition of the capacity of adipocytes to store triglycerides in a dose-dependent manner.
> Inhibits the differentiation of the pre-adipocyte into an adipocyte, thus preventing the storage of fatty acids.
